Marketing Coordinator - The Fifth Avenue Hotel
Role Overview
The Fifth Avenue Hotel is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support our integrated brand marketing and communications efforts across digital marketing, paid media, and owned content. This role will provide critical operational, creative, and analytical support to ensure the successful execution of marketing initiatives that reflect the hotel’s distinctive brand and culture.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Operations
Provide day-to-day support to the Director of Marketing & Communications and Marketing Manager, including invoice management, scheduling, and project coordination.
Maintain visibility across all marketing projects to ensure deliverables and deadlines are met.
Track timelines, calendars, and approval processes, proactively flagging potential issues.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather content related to initiatives, events, and activations.
Ensure accuracy and attention to detail across all marketing communications and materials.
Assist with media planning, including asset management, tagging, and campaign tracking.
Creative Support
Manage digital image asset organization and distribution.
Support development of creative content including monthly email newsletters, website stories, and guest-facing collateral.
Assist in coordination of event production and photo/video shoots on property.
Analysis & Research
Conduct market and category research, compiling data on the competitive set.
Monitor social media conversations, competitor activity, and digital trends to identify opportunities for engagement and growth.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing, media planning, or related field (luxury, hospitality, or travel industry experience preferred).
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro).
Strong command of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative thinker with the ability to develop engaging content and campaign ideas.
Experience with website content management systems, social media editing tools, and copywriting.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented, collaborative, and self-motivated with a passion for art, design, fashion, and culture.
